Description
Summary:
Daring, hand-picked men of the Special Air Service paddle through the dark in frail rubber canoes. Destruction of a German E-boat base is their desperate mission.
Suddenly a searchlight beam splits the night. Methodically each canoe and the men in it are torn to shreds by machine-gun bullets. Only three men escape to shore. Each knows well the motto of the Special Sir Service, “Who dares, wins”. But what chance can they have, unarmed as they are, against the might of many hundreds of Germans manning the E-boat base?
How could they possibly dare – and win?
