Summary:

Lieutenant Peter Powell and his torpedo-boat crews reckoned it would be a nice holiday, a quiet jaunt from the Mediterranean up to the English Channel through the peaceful canals and quiet rivers of the French countryside.

Well, it started off something like that, but then came the German blitzkrieg and they were dive-bombed, shelled, machine-gunned and chased by an armoured division. Some holiday!

Condition:

Some mild creasing to spine, tanning. Book is sound and in good condition. Bags and boards optional, please add during checkout if required. Please examine photos carefully and see our notes on item condition before purchasing.
