Description
Summary:
Two groups of tough, battle-hardened men with a desperate mission.
A squad of German paratroopers under Feldwebel Ernst Johst – a platoon of the Red Devils under Captain Harry Lincoln. Their orders were the same – hold the bridge until relieved, or blow it up if enemy tanks got there first.
And when brave men like that meet face-to-face in such a battle, there can be no doubt about the outcome. It can’t possibly be a draw. Someone’s got to win . . . someone’s got to lose.
