Description
Summary:
Lieutenant Mark Rowland looked around in the darkness. Yes, they were on the right track – there was the landmark, the clump of rocks he’d been told to look out for. A glance behind him . . . yes, the platoon were marching confidently forward, trusting him, depending on him.
Then suddenly came disaster as explosions split the night. Instantly all was chaos – flashes, bangs, cries from wounded men. They had walked straight into a minefield!
Mark flung himself down on the sand and stared round in horror. If any of his men ever got out alive, would they – could they – ever trust him again?
