Description

Summary:

The man was called Horace Canterbury. Awkward, slow, clumsy, untidy, he was possibly the worst soldier in the British Army.

The goat was called Napoleon. Bad-tempered, smelly, hairy, evil-intentioned, it was possibly the worst regimental mascot in the British Army.

Separately, they were useless. Together, they were enough to break a sergeant-major’s heart.
