When big George Lumsden joined up – sixteen stone of bone and muscle, over six feet tall, but with the heart of a mouse and a brain like a peanut – the army wondered what use a man like this would be on a blazing desert battlefield.

It took a little Cockney, Private “Spider” Webb to show how to light a flame in big George and turn that massive body into a tremendous fighting machine. From then on George was like a huge bulldozer, driven by a little man at the controls, crushing everything that stood in his path!

Rubbing to spine ends, reading crease. Crease at corner and some edge wear. Cover is bright, moderate tanning internally. Book is sound. Acceptable condition. Bagged and boarded. Please examine photos carefully and see our notes on item condition before purchasing.
