After being tortured by the Gestapo, Pilot Officer Jim Ayer escaped and made his way back to England. So that he wouldn’t be captured in Europe again he was transferred to Coastal Command, flying over the Atlantic.
Little did he know that within a few days he would once more be in the enemy’s clutches. This time, in the hands of Lieutenant Heinrich Steltz – a ruthless Nazi determined to gain promotion at all costs!
