Summary:
As the retreating Germans looted Europe, nothing of value was safe. Dave Kingston was sent to rescue the famous Pirezzi emeralds from Nazi clutches, but the jewels were whisked away from under his nose by a crazy, grinning German called Lutz.
Against orders, Dave tracked him down – but an assassination attempt showed that there were others with a more sinister interest in the jewels.
