Description

Ken Barr is one of the best known Commando cover artists but his career included work for many notable publications. This is one of eight black and white magazines published by Marvel between 1975 and 1977, several of which had colour cover artwork produced by Ken Barr.

Doc Savage, full name Clark Savage, Jr. He is the son of scientist and adventurer Clark Savage, Sr. Unlike many other pulp heroes, Clark Savage has no special powers. Rather, he was physically and mentally trained from birth by his father and a team of scientists, honed to become the perfect human specimen. He possesses peak human capabilities in addition to a genius level intellect.
