Description
Summary:
Throughout the Second World War, British airliners continued to fly important passengers all over the globe. Captain Frank Fletcher and his B.O.A.C. crew were doing this in 1942, taking their Empire class flying boat from Britain to Australia via Singapore.
That year this turned out to be a very unhealthy route to fly – Japanese forces were on the rampage and prepared to shoot at anything that moved!
