Description
Summary:
Before the war the fight fans packed out boxing halls all over Britain to see Colin “Kid” McCoy fight . . . to see him win another fight with his lethal fists and sparkling footwork. Then came war and Kid found himself in another kind of fight where you swopped bullets instead of punches, and the loser stayed down for keeps.
It was a far cry from the square ring but there came a day when Kid pulled on his gloves again in a Japanese prison camp, matched against a Japanese Karate killer.
